Practice Gratitude Beyond Thanksgiving Day: 20 Things To Be Thankful For in 2022

So often our lives are dictated by transitional events, seasons, and traditions. Thanksgiving is a day traditionally set aside for giving thanks for our blessings and bounty. But the benefits of practicing gratitude are endless. Those who incorporate the time and effort of routinely reflecting on what they are thankful for experience a greater sense of being present in one’s life.

Scientific social/psychological studies have produced data that reveal being more present leads to a greater chance of establishing more satisfying relationships, improved immunity and health outcomes, and a generally positive sense of well-being. People who make gratitude an essential component of their value system tend to feel more energetic, creative, and passionate. Teaching the young by example the practice of gratitude provides a path for them to be less ego-centric, compassionate, happier, and more accomplished

So make this Thanksgiving an excuse to keep up giving thanks all year round.

Below are 20 things on my gratitude list – Please share what you are thankful for in the comment section.
