Krasnodar, May 26 – Seismologists recorded the second earthquake on Thursday in the Tuapse region of the Krasnodar Territory, with a magnitude of 4.4, no one was injured, the Main Territorial Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations told reporters.
On Thursday, at about 22.05, an earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred in the Krasnodar Territory, the epicenter of which was recorded in the village of Olginka. According to the ministry, there were no injuries or damage to buildings.
“At 22.40 25.05 … on the territory of the Tuapse region, 8 km south of Tuapse (in the sea) at a depth of 5 km, the seismological station recorded a seismic event with a magnitude of 4.4 on the Richter scale, intensity 5 points (Tuapse region 4-5 points , Gelendzhik 2-3 points) … The infrastructure and life support facilities are functioning normally, there are no dead or injured, the report says.
According to the administration, EDDS from the Tuapse region received 95 appeals from local residents, and tremors were felt in 13 settlements. We are talking about the villages of Tyumensky, Prigorodny, Gizel-Dere, the villages of Nebug, Agoy, Zarechnoye, Kroyanskoye, Messagezhai, Volnoye, Dzeberkoy, Vesna, as well as the village of Agui-Shapsug and the city of Tuapse.
It is noteworthy that 13 observation groups from the administration and the fire and rescue garrison of the Tuapse region are participating in the survey of the area.
