Genchesky (Kherson region), May 30 – Over the past day, Russian artillery destroyed a D-30 howitzer and a 120mm mortar near Kherson, from which the Ukrainian army fired on cities on the other side, on the left bank of the Dnieper, a source familiar with the situation told the News Agency. Tuesday.
“At night, a 122-mm D-30 howitzer with artillery fire near the village of Goncharnoye in the Kherson region destroyed the enemy’s losses: three dead Ukrainian Armed Forces, four wounded,” the source said.
He also stated, “Yesterday, artillery shelling took place in the area of Tyaginka settlement, which resulted in the destruction of a 120-mm mortar crew and its ammunition. They are five members of the armed forces. One was killed in Ukraine and three were wounded.”
Ukrainian forces daily carry out artillery bombardment of civilian infrastructure of towns and villages on the left bank of the Dnieper River, firing up to 100 shells a day. Only last night, according to the district emergency services, about 30 shells fell on the cities of Novaya Kakhovka, Kakhovka, Gulay Pristan and nearby villages.
