The Financial institution of England has raised interest prices to 2.25 per cent – the maximum stage given that the 2008 economic crisis.
It has also warned the United Kingdom could now be in recession.
“We’re currently seeing indications that the financial state is slowing from short-phrase indicators and that type of thing,” Resolution Basis Economist James Smith mentioned.
“We’re going to see a lot more of that in the coming months.”
